Mars reformulated the UK/EU chews (formerly Opal Fruits) without gelatin, while the US product still lists gelatin and, in some flavours, confectioner's glaze.
What to check on the label
- The ingredient list on your own pack — Starburst recipes differ by country and change over time
- Milk, whey, casein, lactose, egg, honey, gelatin, carmine (E120) and shellac (E904) in the list

Is Starburst certified vegan?
